We had our meeting last 03 July 2007. Our contest theme for July is "all about weddings". The judges were:
1. Rudy Fontanilla - soon-to-be an in-house judge of SPPP... he never say no to us! (Hehehe!)
2. Angie de Silva - another favorite judge of SPPP but don't take his comments personally... those are all constructive criticisms.
3. Buddy Convocar - president of Saturday Club (a group of very talented artists, which I hope to join someday... wishful thinking!!!)
The winners are or is...
ROBERT LESTER ALISCAD (grand slam winner...let me add that he is the 3rd member who got this honor after Ibarra Deri and Leah Taas...this is really special...it's like a hole-in-one for golfers.)
Our August meeting will be something to look forward to... we'll have a nude photo session with a male model. (yes, finally a male nude model... I hope we get somebody from the 300 cast. Hehehe!)
After the photo session, we'll have a drawing workshop with the group of Mr. Buddy Convocar. So aside from your camera, please bring the following: sketchpad, charcoal pencil #6, eraser.
And don't forget your entries for August... theme: open.
Wait, if our male nude model is not available, our in-house models, Jessie Herrera and Joseph Tutanes are always ready to pose for us (in the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie... Hehehe!!!)
